Leading Edge Kickboxing offers you the best workout you’ve ever had—’cause there’s no workout quite like what you’ll get at LEK. What you’ll do here is a true Total Body Workout. You’ll sculpt your arms, legs, abs, and glutes while also strengthening your back and core muscles.

Every class gives you a phenomenal cardio workout along with resistance training, which helps you build lean, long muscle while burning fat.

"Well known as an excellent form of stress relief, martial arts-inspired workouts also improve strength, aerobic fitness, and flexibility. The variety of movements used in kickboxing can sharpen reflexes and improve coordination and balance. In addition, this type of exercise burns an average of 500-800 calories an hour, as opposed to the 300-400 calories typically burned by the average step aerobics class."

Unlike repetitive routines and monotonous exercise such as lifting weights and running on a treadmill, what you’ll do at Leading Edge Kickboxing is different every time. Our classes are not only motivational and physically challenging, but they’re also mentally stimulating as well—So, you stay out of a rut and on-track with your fitness goals.

In addition to getting into optimum shape (whether that’s getting “toned” or getting “ripped”), you’ll also acquire useful skills. You’ll skip rope, stretch out, and do footwork, shadow boxing, bag work, and pad work—just like a pro fighter. You’ll see your skills improve as your body gets in better shape.

Leading Edge Kickboxing is different from any fitness or martial arts program out there. You won’t find a program like this at a health club or on a DVD. This isn’t Tae Bo; it’s the real thing.

Everything you learn could potentially be used in a real self-defense situation. In fact, our techniques have been taught to law enforcement officials and US Military personnel, including Navy Seals.

At LEK, you’ll cross-train within or choose between the systems, which are world renowned for being the most efficient for full-contact competition and real fighting:

• Muay Thai Kickboxing
• Jujutsu (Grappling / Submission Wrestling)
• Kali-Escrima-Silat (Filipino Martial Arts)
While we teach the most practical martial art techniques around, ours is a non-traditional program—with no forms, no rituals, no uniforms, and no nonsense. You won’t find a more effective or more complete self-defense program anywhere.

In addition to our regular programs, LEK also offers a FREE Women’s Self-Defense class every month.
